Methodology

Narrative Sentiment (brand, entertainment, politics, macro): Weighted composite from average sentiment (70%), positive ratio (15%), and negative ratio (15%) of matching articles over 7 days.

Momentum (sports): Measures narrative velocity — buzz and coverage relative to peers.

Confidence derived from article count and source diversity.
